From the 28th of February to the 1st of March 2013, the 4th International Chemical Trade Fairs EXPOCHEM are going to be held in Katowice. An international EXPOCHEM Conference will accompany the fairs.
EXPOCHEM is an initiative directed to people connected with the chemical industry in various ways. The varied economic situation in the EU member states and the necessity to develop Polish chemical industry are motivating stimuli for the integration of the sector. This is why the Fairs are an opportunity to present the strategy of development and the investment plans of companies from the sector.
The goal of the Fairs is finding commercial application of modern technologies and scientific ideas being developed in scientific and research institutions as well as developing a practical implementation of the scientific ideas in the industry – explained Marzena Jedynak from the Board of Warsaw Fairs Plc, the organizer of EXPOCHEM.
At this year’s event, the participants will be able to take part in a conference concerning new challenges and investments in the chemical sector in Poland and a panel on international cooperation and development. The invited guests are going to discuss Inwestycje Polskie government program, corporate social responsibility in the sector, resources (including shale gas) and innovations in the industry.
Among the patrons of this year’s EXPOCHEM are the Polish Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Treasury. “PUŁAWY” is the main sponsor of EXPOCHEM conference in 2013.
