Grupa Azoty is the second largest fertilizer manufacturer in Europe. Our activity on international markets has recently been appreciated. We received the title of “The best Polish exporter among the companies which are owned or partly owned by the Treasury”, in a competition “Polish Company – an International Champion”.
Oil/Chemistry conference called “Time of Innovation” took place on December 9th in Warsaw. Grupa Azoty was the main partner of the event organized by Grupa PTWP S.A. The discussion panels were attended by Grupa Azoty representatives: Paweł Jarczewski, Krzysztof Jałosiński, Hubert Kamola, Paweł Bielski and a delegate of the partner institution, Janusz Igras from New Chemical Syntheses Institute.
Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY was awarded in the National Competition of Improving Labor Conditions announced by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. The 42th Competition was held in 2014, and Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY participated for the first time. The distinction is another award for the company regarding occupational safety.
The 22nd Leaders of Polish Business Gala was held on January 24th, 2015. At the ceremony, awards were given to companies which are active in Poland and stand out among the competition. The list of the awarded companies includes Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY, which received a Diamond to accompany its Golden Statuette of Polish Business Leader.
Two inventions prepared by the scientists from Our Works and from Industrial Chemistry Research Institute were appreciated by the juries of international exhibitions and awarded silver medals.
The 12th Polish Exporters’ Congress was held on November 20th, 2014 in “Pod Kopułą” Hall at the Ministry of Economy in Warsaw. The Congress enjoyed the honorary patronage of Janusz Piechociński, the Vice PM and the Minister of Economy; Eugeniusz Grzeszczak, the Vice Marshal of the Polish Sejm; Marek Sawicki, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; and the Marshals of Polish voivodeships. Awards and distinctions in “Outstanding Exporter of the Year 2014” were presented at the event.
Just as in the previous years, Occupational Safety Leaders’ Forum has awarded the Golden Leader Cards. Once more, the list of the winners includes Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY.
Grupa Azoty and the companies it comprises received awards for their activity, taking top positions in the annual Pillars of Polish Economy ranking, not unlike last year. The competition aims at distinguishing the companies which have a marked impact on the development of particular regions of the country.
During the Monday ceremony of presenting Economy Awards of the Polish President, Grupa Azoty gained two reasons to feel proud. “PUŁAWY” received the first prize in Green Economy category, while Grupa Azoty S.A. was shortlisted in Presence on Global Markets category.
