Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY with an award for safety
Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY was awarded in the National Competition of Improving Labor Conditions announced by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. The 42th Competition was held in 2014, and Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY participated for the first time. The distinction is another award for the company regarding occupational safety.
Appreciated by the Ministry
We are especially glad to inform that Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe “Puławy” S.A. won the recognition of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, and was given a distinction in “Organizational and educational initiatives” category for a paper called “Using individual protection measures guarantees to improve occupational safety”. The paper was prepared by Safety and Hygiene at Work specialists: Adam Piotrowski, Mariusz Cieniuszek, Andrzej Smętek and Tomasz Ogrodnik, the Chief Safety and Hygiene at Work specialist.
Encouragement for further work
In particular, the Jury of the Competition recognized the efforts of Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY to increase the staff awareness concerning Safety and Hygiene at Work rules, as well as the company activity to improve the conditions of labor. Implementing a system of occupational safety management and the reduction of the number of occupational accidents met with much appreciation.
Marian Rybak, the Chairman of the Board of Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY, said that the award was very important for the Company. He vowed to continue the involvement in the exchange of know-how and in shaping safe labor conditions.
Noteworthy awards and distinctions
The distinction concerning occupational safety given to Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY is not the first of this kind. The Company has recently received the Golden Leader Card awarded by Occupational Safety Leaders Forum. We are proud to have our achievements gain recognition of the juries of professional competitions. More importantly, all our efforts contribute directly to improving occupational safety in Our Works.
