Distinctions for Grupa Azoty

The 12th Polish Exporters’ Congress was held on November 20th, 2014 in “Pod Kopułą” Hall at the Ministry of Economy in Warsaw. The Congress enjoyed the honorary patronage of Janusz Piechociński, the Vice PM and the Minister of Economy; Eugeniusz Grzeszczak, the Vice Marshal of the Polish Sejm; Marek Sawicki, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; and the Marshals of Polish voivodeships. Awards and distinctions in “Outstanding Exporter of the Year 2014” were presented at the event.

Grupa Azoty was given an “Outstanding Exporter of the Year 2014” medal and a congratulatory letter by the Polish Exporters’ Association in recognition of the Group’s sales results.

The title is given each year to the companies which stand out on domestic and international markets and which promote Polish products abroad. The “Outstanding Exporter of the Year 2014” medal is to put the spotlight on those Polish companies and corporations which are active in promoting the export of Polish goods on a global scale.

Grupa Azoty is one of the companies appreciated for its economic achievements

An official announcement of the results and the presentation of awards was held on October 27th, 2014 in “Pod Kopułą” Hall at the Ministry of Economy in Warsaw. The results concerned the following competitions: “Brand of the Polish Economy”, “The Eagles of Export”, “Good Company 2014” and “Innovative Company” from the 2000 Companies list compiled by Rzeczpospolita daily. The distinctions awarded by the Ministry of Economy and Rzeczpospolita are given to the leaders of Polish export, the most innovative and development-oriented companies in Poland.

The event was attended by Janusz Piechociński, the Vice PM and the Minister of Economy, and Ilona Antoniszyn-Klik, the Vice Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy. Grupa Azoty was honored with the “Good Company 2014” title. The distinction was given to some of the companies from the Rzeczpospolita’s 2000 Companies list.

“A Brand of the Polish Economy” Awards were given to companies which are the most successful in exporting goods manufactured in Poland and which promote Polish products and enterprises abroad.
“The Eagle of Export” is an award given by the Ministry of Economy and Rzeczpospolita daily to companies whose international sales results have grown the fastest.
