
Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY is a Polish company that specializes in the production of mineral fertilizers and chemical products for various sectors and industries. Since 2013, PUŁAWY has been a part of Grupa Azoty – one of the largest chemical companies in Europe and in the world.
Grupa Azoty PUŁAWY attaches great importance to the community which it has been making an impact on for over 50 years now. As a result, we have become involved in a number of local projects aimed at developing the town and the area. The staff are a great asset of the company, and the latest initiative we have taken up together is Employee Volunteering project.
Azoty Puławy Club handball players came third in the qualifications round of the Superleague, only yielding to teams from Kielce and Płock. Puławy team has been in great shape, and it has only been defeated in 5 out of 22 matches in 2015/16 season.
The construction of the section of Expressway S12 that connects Kurów West intersection with the new bridge on the Vistula is due to be completed by the end of April 2018. The project documentation was submitted to Infrastructure Department of Lublin Voivodeship Office in February 2016.
The inhabitants of Skoki, a village located in Puławy county, came up with a unique idea to improve safety in their place of living. A defibrillator was installed in the center of the village, and first aid training was organized, showing local people how to use the appliance to save another person’s life.
